Home in South Alabama
This was a once in a lifetime happening for us.
We have snow about once every 3 or 4 years, and
sometimes more snow than this, but usually in February
or even March. This snow was 3 days before Christmas
and somewhere in the very early 1990's. I'm not sure
of the year now. Our home has it's wreaths on the
windows and garland over them, all decked out for the
season. There is a wreath on the front door which is
recessed and too dark to be seen here. This was very
exciting for us to be having snow at Christmas and
we'll never forget it. The picture was made from the
driveway of my neighbor across the street. You can tell
we didn't have much snow, none stuck to the street at all,
but it was beautiful on the trees, lawn and roof. I think
for the most part,it was all melted by the next day. Yet,
it is a pleasant memory I thought I would share.
