Country Getaway
"The Land We Love"
The land my husband grew up on, and loves so very much.
It is his great pleasure to spend time just keeping roads
cut through the rows of pine trees that are planted there,
so he can drive his 51 year old Jeep all over it
These aerial shots taken by a friend, show most of the land
which is about seven miles outside of town.
This is a working farm, but is rented to the farmer who works it.
My husband never had the desire to farm.
This is home to him, and he loves it.
This is the house where my husband grew up.
It burned down several years ago,
and has really been missed.
All the family enjoyed being there,
and remembering all the wonderful times past.
