Bass Pond
My Husband Fishing
This is where my husband spends much of his time.
He grew up on this land, and enjoys the relaxation
of being out there, whether fishing in this bass pond, or
working. The pond also abounds in bream, a good catch any day.
You can see he keeps the area around the pond
clean cut and picnic ready. There is fresh, running
water for cleaning your fish or just washing your hands.
Many wonderful "fish fries" have been held here,
including good "southern hushpuppies".
This is an aerial shot of the pond
and part of the farmland that is my husbands pride and joy.
These two piers, seen below, make it an easy place to fish.
They are fairly recent additions, and much enjoyed.
This shady area is lighted at night
and offers a great picnic area and cook-out place.
It is his quiet place and he loves to be out there.
Especially, since his retirement.
