when this picture was taken. She was able to jump up on the couch
and enjoyed sitting or laying there.
She was very much loved and spoiled, yet died from copper toxicity when
she was only 11 months old. She had swallowed some pennies which did not
pass on through her system. Two of the four had started digesting and had
holes in them. We were as careful as anyone can be about what she found on
the floor, but she was quick and would not give up "treasures" she had found.
She would swallow them before she would give them up. Sometimes we could
bribe her with a treat and get her to drop the item we didn't want her to
swallow. No dog was ever loved more and she will always hold a part of our hearts.
She was enjoying her new toy in her crate where she always slept at night.
I think it appears like she has a cigar in her mouth. *S*
