Jia was always near me or my husband. She loved us as we loved her.
Approximately 4 months old in this picture.
Her name in Chinese, "Zhen Jia Li" means: Precious, Good and Beautiful. She was all of those things.
It took Jia 4 months to be strong enough to jump up to the hearth.
Then it became her favorite place.
Just woke up, had a nice nap here at Mommy's feet.
Between 7 and 8 months of age.
This was a really fun day, she stayed outside with Dad while
he raked leaves and had such fun playing. Late October or early November
when this was taken. That would make her almost 10 months old, depending
on the exact date.
She was a large Pekingese, weighing 16 Lbs.
Jia watching my Persian cat on the floor, about ready to leap.
She was 10 months old and loved to play with my Himilayan, Coco.
Jia, sitting on the couch, thinking of what she might do next.
I have to find a stopping place since I have over 300 pictures of her. *S*
Our hearts are broken and I can't see any end to it right away.
I have lost pets before but she was so young and died so quickly.
There was never a more lovable or sweet dog in the world!! She had
my heart and she lived a wonderful, most loved life of only 11 months.
Words cannot express how much she will be missed.
Thank you Di, you are a dear and loving friend.
My pain and suffering came to an end,
so don't cry for me, my person, my friend.
But think of the living - those souls with fur
(some who bark and some who purr) -
And though our bond can't be broken apart,
make room for another in your home and your heart.
