have lived with us 1 week tomorrow. She is sleeping in her
crate at night without whining now and plays off and on all day,
breaking play time with long naps. She loves her Science Diet food.
No treats are being offered yet but will be added soon. She will
get the puppy biscuits made by Hills Science Diet and some cheese
which is good for her as well as something all dogs like. Laci
gained 12 1/2 ozs. in her 1st 2 weeks living with us.

what to think about the big outdoors but soon liked it fine.
She enjoyed playing in the grass with us sitting down with her
much better than walking with the lead however. She has a halter
and lead for now until she learns to enjoy taking short walks out
beside the curb with one of us.

weight and growing fast. She is still very much the baby of our house
though. She is sleeping well and seems to be a very happy Peke who loves
her people very much. I think she realizes that she "owns us" She went
with us on an hours trip to a city large enough to have a good Pet Store.
She enjoyed her ride and picked out a new toy while there. We think she
will be doing some traveling with us from time to time. She certainly enjoyed
her short ride so we'll try her on a longer one.

picture was taken. She has adjusted so well and we are enjoying her very
much. No home could ever be happier than when a Peke comes to live with
you. They are adorable small dogs who really think they might be human and
don't mind taking over and letting you know how you can serve them. *S* This
we do with great pleasure because they are so lovable and beautiful.
I will continue to post new pictures of Laci as she grows up and also some
of her first rode trip with us. Please come back to see us soon, Laci promises
